We vaccinate puppies and kittens from 8-16 weeks of age, boostering the vaccines at each visit.

Kittens are tested for Felv/FIV at the first visit depending on their age. We then vaccinate for leukemia at 12 weeks if your kitten will be outdoors.

Puppies are started on heartworm prevention at their first visit. They are tested for heartworms at 8months-1 year of age.

Once your pet has had their full puppy or kitten vaccine series, we like to see them yearly. At this yearly visit we will perform a complete physical exam, check a stool sample for parasites and vaccinate your pet. For dogs we will do a heartworm test as well. Certain vaccines have gone to a 3 year cycle, so your pet may not get the same amount of vaccines each year.

We no longer vaccinate your pet after 15 years of age. Rabies will be administered as it is required by law.

Heartworm and Flea prevention can be started at the first visit depending on your pet's weight and age. Both of these products should be given every month.
